French Style Inspires a Most Contemporary Hotel

The Baccarat Hotel and Residence New York combines the style and heritage of the famed French crystal brand with a little modern flair. Brilliantly imagined by industry titan Barry Sternlicht, Baccarat Hotel and Residences New York sits in a Midtown Manhattan glass tower of 114 guest rooms from Paris based luxury design team Gilles & Boissier, 60 elegant residences from New York interiors master Tony Ingrao, a soothing La Mer spa and a series of salon style public spaces.

The Grand Salon is the hotel's humming heart. Beginning with gourmet breakfast fare and continuing through the evening to cocktails and nightcaps, the sumptuous second floor space graciously welcomes guests into the wondrous world of Baccarat. With its daring, slightly seductive scene, The Bar plays the foil to the refined sophistication of the adjacent Grand Salon.

It takes its inspiration from the great American long bars of decades past, the glamorous ballrooms and the royal stables at Versailles. Glittering red Baccarat chandeliers and pieces of fine art from the 18th century all hang salonstyle behind the 60 foot bar and expert bartenders serve exceptional wines and perfectly crafted cocktails in stunning pieces of Baccarat crystal.
