A Bespoke Apartment Celebrates Living

Known as Apartment K, this colorful, contemporary space in Kiev was created by 33bY Architecture for a young woman with a wide variety of interests. As a result, the interior reflects the client's love of all sorts of activities, ranging from travel, literature, music, business, spiritual development and more. The rich, engaging interiors perfectly highlight the client's lust for life and the various pursuits she undertakes.

In terms of color, the apartment is divided into shades of blue, a gentle purple and a sun yellow, creating a warm, bold interior. The layout of the home clearly divides into two blocks, one is private while the other is the perfect space in which to entertain guests. The guest area was designed in order to create a wide, open format which contains the kitchen, dining room, living room and main hallway along with a guest bathroom. The common area itself is also divided, separating the living area from the kitchen thanks to the use of an island which also serves as a seated bar and from the corridor through the addition of a series of bookshelves.

The interior elements feature the use of dark wood which decorates the floor and the walls, not to mention some of the furniture. Bright textiles break up what could be a dark interior and plants in boldly colored pots complete the effect.
