An Urban Japanese Setting in Spain

     Award winning creative consultancy Masquespacio combines interior design and marketing by incorporating branding in its projects. Its latest project is the in Valencia’s Ruzafa. The design team strove to introduce a new concept while working on the bar. After researching Japanese culture and urban living, the visual impact of Toyko’s crowded streets and muddled alleys shone through. The home of the Yakitori bar, the alleyways of Tokyo’s main streets, formed the main reference point and the design touchstone for the project.
   
Farfetch Redesigns its Worldwide Offices IRL

     The online consumer destination for the world’s latest high end fashions, Farfetch, has recently teamed with the dynamic design studio Studiofibre to redesign its global headquarters in London, New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai. With a design narrative that injects the brand into the shell of the existing buildings, and delivers a series of optimal working spaces, Studiofibre’s approach was more €˜installation’ than fitout the result being a stylishly deconstructed and highly flexible gallery style space.
   
The Kwerk Opus II in Paris is Redefining the Humble Workspace

     The design of the Kwerk Opus II includes workspaces, seated desks, standing arrangements and all the infrastructure a working team or individual needs, from conference rooms to eating spaces. Designed by Albert Angel, the Kwerk space is a modern working environment, envisioned as a place of innovation, curiosity and productivity. Its social spaces, too, encourage team unity, where staff can mingle, brainstorm and form new plans.
   
A Recording Studio Takes it up a Notch

     OVO Sound is one of Canada’s leading music production companies. Headed by Noah Shebib, the firm is known for its youthful energy and cutting edge musical chops. When it came to the design of its main Toronto offices, Shebib turned to design studio I V. The resulting scheme combines answers to both the needs of a modern company and a recording label.
   
Tom Dixon’s Latest in Atlanta

     Headed by famed designer Tom Dixon, Design Research Studio is a London based architectural interior design agency that’s been making waves in Europe and recently unveiled its first American project Himitsu, a cocktail lounge in Atlanta, Georgia. Fusing American with Japanese culture, Himitsu strikes a particular balance, creating an upscale spot in which to enjoy a tipple.
