A Rolling Stone’s Life in Barcelona

Following a two year modernization process, El Palace Barcelona brings fresh splendor to one of the most exclusive hotels in the city. Centrally located near the Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas, Paseo de Gracia and famous landmarks such as the Picasso Museum and the Sagrada Familia, this stunning hotel boasts an important place in the art history of this vibrant city, as Salvador Dali and his wife Gala once lived in the Royal Suite, now named Suite Dali. True to its name, the hotel features rich, opulent public areas, with marble colonnades, ornate moldings, grandly upholstered seating and beautiful crystal chandeliers.

Fantastic Food and Design in the Heart of Bucharest

Sardin, a new Mediterranean restaurant, and its "responsible kitchen" animates the Timpuri Noi area of Bucharest. With an overall background that makes the most of natural wood and concrete, the Corvin Christian’s team of architects created a fantastic system that can only be described as architectural hoarding.

A Contemporary Meeting Space in Ghent

The XYZ Lounge is a place of intersection and exchange. As central point of meeting and discussion for the users of the Zebrastraat conference hall, in the center of Ghent, it questions the notions of friendliness and the physicality of today. Designed by Didier Faustino, the lounge offers a place that is both neutral and sensual, a place which is neither a social marker, nor a space of identity.

Raising Luxury to a Whole New Level

The Barriere group of hotels and hospitality outlets represents one of the finest luxury lifestyle companies in the business. Under the belief that luxury means creating happiness, Barriere offers up world leading hotels, casinos, resorts and more. Barriere also believe in strongly supporting the local community by buying local products whenever possible and through the employment of local people. Traditional, but with a whimsical charm, their properties are elegant, refined and sensual, but with a strong sense of irreverence. Blending tradition and modernity, Barriere businesses sit at the forefront of the hospitality industry. The Hotel Le Grey d’Albion and Hotel Le Majestic stand out as the very best of the best.

A Madrid Coffee House with Panache

Designed by Andres Jaque’s Office for Political Innovation, this project transforms the former 1946 garage of Gutierrez Soto’s most significant building, located in the geographical center of Madrid, into a combination of a bakery, cafe and experimental restaurant. The original volume and structure of the building was recovered, leaving a five meter high space with massive openings onto the streets.

Bringing New Life to Colonial Heritage

While working on the design of a third shopping center for their clients, the Spacemen team were so taken by the serene beauty and picturesque scenery of the region’s endless tea fields that they sought to embody that charm into the store’s identity. Drawing inspiration from the scenes around them they were able to reinterpret the iconic green hills into an abstract design for the restaurant, which will become the flagship for the clients’ brand and a prominent landmark in the area.
