Conversation is Sparked by a Collaborative Environment

Organic Design Architecture Studio was commissioned by their client, Re SOHKO inc, to create a space that would bring new life (and a new tenant) to the vacant first floor of a 33 year old rental office building. The team responded by designing a free space in one corner of the floor. Because the building has central air conditioning, it was necessary to maintain airflow throughout. The designers researched various materials that would not interfere with airflow, such as perforated panels, mesh, and louvers while also thinking about how they could create a transparent atmosphere to encourage wide ranging intellectual discussion in the space.
A Lunch Spot Replete with Style

The second story exterior of the Morning Glory eatery overlooks the Piazza della Famiglia in Little Italy with a facade clad in a high polish copper siding in a shingled chevron pattern with a brass and copper neon egg sign. A visual highlight is the articulating store front in constant motion. The Mary Kay pink painted steel windows bi fold individually and then break horizontally. Underneath the bar height marble top counters is a copper Good Morning sign that is visible from the street below.
Film and Fantasy Come Together in Torno Subito

Torno Subito, the newest addition to the renowned W Hotel brand upon the Palm Jumeirah Dubai, is a visual celebration for the celebrated, 3 star Michelin Holder Massimo Bottura. The chef known, for passion, creativity and even his quirky sense of style, saw a unique opportunity with this venture, in that he could recreate his childhood memories through intelligent design and an innovative food offering. Bishop Design’s brief was to realize the sentiment of Massimo having fun. It was to be a metaphysical manifestation of beachside days reminiscent of Rimini’s coastal playground of the 1950s and 60s.
Roman Architecture Inspires Incredible Design

London agency FormRoom drew on the very best in service, function and interior trends within the food and beverage industry to create luxury European restaurant, Kailo. The commercial design agency established that a market gap existed for a luxury, contemporary take on sustainable dining. The stage was set for a restaurant that operated with a mind set of health and wellbeing, but with the visual cues of a temptingly modern luxury environment, celebrating seasonal European cuisine.
A Family Focused Pool Embraces Contemporary Design

Renowned Shanghai based architecture studio X+Living has recently completed a fanciful swimming pool and recreational club for children and parents in Suzhou, China. The client was the Loong Swim Club chain, which has outlets in over 10 major Chinese cities. For its newest 2,200 sqm center in Suzhou, X+Living was briefed to create a space with a streamlined flow, one that targets the habits and preferences of its users, young and old.
