HOW TO ADD MUSIC TO A VIDEO USING MOVAVI VIDEO EDITOR

Now we move onto a basic tutorial of how to add music to a video using this particular editor.

Just follow the steps mentioned and you’ll be done in no time.

Step 1: Download and install Movavi Video Editor

Download the file and follow the on screen instructions to install the application on your PC or MAC. Nothing much to explain there, it’s pretty standard stuff!

Step 2: Import the required files in the program

Once the program starts up, hit Create project in full feature mode right on the welcome screen, once done select Add Media Files and select the audio/video/image files you want to use in the project.

Now note that there are two different slots on the timeline in the editor, the video track and the audio track, the video and image files go into the video track and the audio files go in the audio track as illustrated in the screenshot above.

Adjust the audio file according to the video file

Now sometimes you may reach a standpoint where the audio file isn’t as long or is longer than the video file that you’re using. Now at this point you have multiple options to work with, you can either loop the audio track to make it longer, or split/cut it up to make it shorter.

Step 4:Save your masterpiece!

Hit export and select how you’d like to save your video file, firstly select the name then the format and then finally the destination format and hit Start!

That’s all there is to it, all you’ve to do to add music to your video files.
